Know This! with Ariana is an online talk show featuring inspiring interviews, news, pop culture commentary and a smart, savvy point of view. Fed up with the lack of empowering television programs these days, Know This! redefines cool as knowing yourself, knowing your world, and finding a way to make your dreams come true.

After launching in March 2011, Ariana couldn't wait to spread the Know This! message of education, entertainment and empowerment to the masses, and embarked on a ground-breaking 14-city U.S. talk show tour in the Fall of 2011. Over 30 episodes later, with interviews highlighting inspiring next generation voices in media, music, fashion, business, politics, public service and more, Know This! is making its mark as a go-to media platform for the young, urban adult to get informed and inspired without sacrificing the cool factor.

The Host: Ariana Proehl

Ariana Proehl is the creator, producer and host of Know This! Named one of the Women's Media Center's "Progressive Women's Voices" of 2011, Ariana's passion for personal development work, roots in social justice education and young, fresh appeal, make her a fierce voice of this generation, empowering people to make lasting change in themselves, and in the world.

Ariana is a "jill of all trades" with a resume including work in non-profit, government, philanthropy, self-help, and the arts. She is a former Executive Director of youth development and diversity education organization DiversityWorks, a role she took on at age 22. She has spoken to audiences across the country, including Yale and NYU, and interviewed such figures as CNN's Soledad O'Brien and actress Rosario Dawson.
